“Birch and Iris”, this is a small painting, 6″ x 8″, oil on canvas panel. This painting has SOLD.

I missed painting the parade of spring flowers, but found these iris today. They looked just right against the old stonewall where my friend, Polly Hill, had planted them many years ago. I was torn between a cluster of white ones and these purples. I went for the challenge of a dark flower against a dark wall.
