"January Dune"

“January Dune”, this is a small painting, 6″ x 8″, oil on canvas panel. This painting has SOLD.

Rain poured on and off all day. I caught this view while painting from my van between storms, from behind the dunes at South Beach. The rain intensified the colors of the dried grass and the leafless branches of the rosa rugosa. The dark storm clouds added to the drama of the day…
