    This is great, Thaw! I like the composition very much and coincidently I bought several pears this morning with the same idea in mind for my pupils who come this afternoon for painting class. Here I see it IS a good idea.

    Thanks, Liza! These were actually 3 different sets of pears, bought on 3 different weeks. If I had painted them from the opposite angle, you would know why I threw 4 away into the cow pasture the next morning! When I remember to put them in the fridge, they last for weeks. I think the red ones were a month old. They sure are fun to paint, even just one. Hope you and your students do some excellent work with those French pears!!
