"Rearing To Go"

“Rearing To Go”, this is a small painting, 6″ x 8″, oil on canvas panel. This painting has SOLD.

I had been checking on this pond, waiting for the exceedingly high water level to drop. The water was into the poison ivy thickets along the shore, giving no leeway to pass unscathed. I think someone else had given up checking and now was about to find their boat high and dry. Even though I was wishing for a sunny day, here was my opportunity…
